*Sugar Free, Gluten Free, Soy Free, Nut Free, *Dairy Free Option


  • 1 large handful ice (unless you have a good high-torque blender such as a Vitamix or Thermomix, you should use small cubes)
  • 4 scoops (about 70g)  100% WPI Protein Powder (*OR plant-based protein powder for dairy free/vegan option)  You can use any, but I like a good clean Whey Protein Isolate, with no added sweeteners or nasties, for rapid absorption.
  • 1 heaped Tsp. organic unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 large banana (I used frozen – that’s where my overripe ones always end up!)
  • 1 cup coconut milk (or almond milk, or a mix –  if you can tolerate nuts for lower calorie option)
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 2 Tsp. mesquite powder
  • 2-4 Tsp. Natvia or other natural sweetener to taste. (Reduce this amount if you are using a sweetened protein powder or just don’t have a sweet tooth.)

Combine all ingredients in blender and process until smooth. (TM – 20 sec. / Speed 9)
