  • 60g quinoa flakes (or gluten-free oats)
  • 80g tahini (or other nut/seed butter)
  • 50g Natvia (or preferred natural sweetener)
  • 100g pea protein powder (Or protein powder of choice.  Whey protein may be used if you are dairy tolerant)
  • 150g mixed seeds (I used a mixture of pepitas/sunflower/linseeds/chia seeds)
  • 100g slivered almonds  (or other nut/s of choice)
  • 50g craisins (or raisins)
  • 50g unsweetened dried figs, stems removed and roughly chopped into smaller pieces
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 70g cacao
  • 1 tbsp mesquite powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 200ml almond milk (this quantity may need to be adjusted according to the type of protein powder used as some are drier than others)
  • 50ml thick coconut cream
  • 20g coconut oil

*Plus some desiccated coconut to rolls balls in

  • Place all ingredients, except desiccated coconut to food processor, and process on medium speed until well combined.
  • Roll into balls, place on a lined tray (or in Tupperware-type container) and refrigerate until set.  (If the balls are not holding together you might need to add a little more almond milk or water.  If your hands are damp when roling this will help form a nice form shape)
  • Enjoy!!

*May be Frozen

Makes about 24 balls.
